Public Health is Dead aims to compensate guests who share their lived experience on the show with a token for their time when they do not have stable income and/or are not paid to do their public health work. The unpaid community labour of public health often falls on Black, Indigenous, and disabled people and on otherwise equity-deserving groups. When possible, the show will instead contribute to a mutual aid fund or maskbloc if an episode guest has stable income and/or is paid to do their public health work.
Here is a list of maskblocs around the world if you need free high-quality masks or if you would like to support their operations!
